@healthyurbankitchen Lol Cardio is the best way since in ups your heart rate for hours to come…
All the people who are cardio freaks can eat all the fat and candy sugar crap they want since the body can burn more through it than just regular exercise…
And that i mean 1h strong or more per day….
Why are you waiting here online Russian woman gettop5.info
I respectfully disagree. I struggled with my weight my entire life. I was a carb-aholic. Once I cut out ”’bad” carbs as in bread, pasta, rice and potatoes and added more lean protein, organic fruits and veggies AND started running 6 days per week, I dropped weight quickly. I lost a total of 70 pounds and have kept it off for over a year. I run about 20-25 miles per week and try to eat healthy, drink lots of water. Cardio, high intense cardio running changed my life and my body.

Gluten Free Saltwater Taffy….. So Good
isnt doing both the best? Not too much cardio to lose muscle mass but enough to give the heart and lungs that kind of different look?
cooking oil? Even coconut gets denatured when heated. And to make sure you aren’t getting and hBgh from you animal protein or animals fed GMO corn. These too will damage health. corn fed cows are 6 months away from dying when they are slaughtered for consumption. Not healthy animals to be eating. Grass fed organic only people.
Freaking awesome so jealous!!!
Are you FAT? It’s not your fault! look here: fat.xfollow.me (Copy to your browser’s address bar)
whoa! I didn’t know that. I always thought “the more cardio, the better”. I’ve got to research this!
Another gem from Healthy Urban Kitchen! I put this one on my blog today (TheSkinnyOnline). I’m celebrating my first farm order including raw butter, real milk and cheese and grass fed and finished beef! I’m looking forward to being stronger and healthier. Thank you!

building muscle raises your metabolic rate which means you burn more calories.
doing extended periods of cardio raises cortisol levels which are muscle destructive and will reduce your metabolic rate.
resistance training is waaaay more fun, versatile and gets far better results!
I’m inspired and want to be a well oiled machine but do I have to move to new york for you to help me?
cardio is the least effective way to lose weight
your better off changing your brain first
then changing your diet
then learn PROPER exercise – get Paul Chek’s book How to Eat,Move and Be Healthy
then do some short interval training
then after all that, you can do some cardio but its not the first thing to focus on
if you do it, dont do much…less than 30 min total and only a few days a week
antonio
so are you really saying that if a person is 200lbs plus they don’t have to do any cardio???
@mhouse1712 International Journal of Food Sciences and Nutrition compared organic vs conventional diets in animals. Weight gain was greater in organically fed rats, mortality was lower at 9 weeks, incidence of degenerative diseases was lower. Lower mortality in organically fed rabbits. 2nd and 3rd generation rabbits from organically fed parents had higher birth rates and more viable embryos.Infectious illnesses were less frequent in 2nd generation organically fed animals.
The ignorance of the comments here are laughable. For those who mock organic foods, continue to eat your fatty foods, Mc Donalds and whatever gives you cancer and makes you sick.
I will go the other way.
However the chickens are treated and whatever they eat, it does not affect the egg in any way.
@mhouse1712 no one said that people that eat organic food are “healthier” they simply eat foods without chemicals or pesticides. It’s not healthier. it’s just a preference.
@mhouse1712 Do you know how soil works? And how micro-organisms convert matter into nutrients?
. but what about the organic grown on peru and brought by planes and bunch of trucks to new york so you can buy them at costco at five time the price?
@drylander3024114 i agree i support organic farmers very much
@Nebbyker very sensible!!!!!
Keep it up.
I switched my family’s food selection to 80% organic about 2 years ago and will never go back. We are getting sick much less often, cold n flu does are easily dealt with these days.
I am certain that not all organic foods have more vitamins or are much more healthy than mass produced ones but at the very least it still promotes more sustainable farming practices so I always buy organic if possible.
@takadi not certified organic. There are rules to follow
@crackring209 correct ! Only certified and inspected food is really organic.
Better to buy it directly from a certified organic farmer to be sure.
Why does anyone listen to these idiots? There is no evidence that shows that a person who eat food marked “organic” is any more healthy than a person that does not. “Organic” is just a euphemism for “more expensive”.
@gingowitch that made my day
useful organics for me on the weekly grocery shopping trip.. bananas, apples, potatoes, sweet potatoes, spinach, brocoli, romaine lettuce, Publix green wise beef and Publix green wise poultry. They taste better, and its easier to eat them everyday this way.
I agree with the BEAUTIFULY I HAVE A CRUSH ON Dr. Fritz (gosh im horrible). I love to eat as much healthy foods as possible and from just eating healthy, excersising every day, i’ve lost 103 pounds in 9 months. I would like to see more people try to take better care of themselves, even if they just change one bad food item for a good one that day. But overall if you are happy with yourself and way you look, i’m all for that xd
Meat eggs and dairy might be slightly better for you, but other than that, I don’t think organic foods are that much different, at least healthwise. Also, I think there’s a difference between organic and sustainable. You can still practice bad farming techniques and still be organic these days
@abraxnos So we cut down all the forests and use all available land for organic farming and shoot a third of the world population since their won’t be enough food for them. We need to double food production to keep up with population growth and you think people should use a system that produces half as much food. We need genetically modified giant food that grows super quick if we all aren’t going to starve. While the luxury exists enjoy your organic food. Keep a personal garden.
cage free can mean they’re all kept in a huge place with no windows or space
interesting, always thought produce was most important for organic, good tips.
Thank you for the great insight and advice for dairy products.
Good info. I am vegan, so I can concentrate mainly on organic produce. Thanks for posting!
@bryan7422 Pesticide is poison which is essentially bad for you, but you’re right Bryan in that it doesn’t reduce the nutritional or caloric value. Pesticide can, according to particular foods, be absorbed into them (such as potatoes), in such a case one would be essentially eating poison. In some cases in which the pesticide remains on the outside of the food (like grapes or apples) one can use soap and wash the chemicals off or peal the skin.
@Justwosweet How many are dying NOW from diseases caused by compromised overloaded immune systems due to a excess of pollutants in our food, water and air??
@burn625 Agreed that when not eating organically the body is taking in all those chemicals used to change the way animals and food grows. By eating these things we put the chemicals in our own bodies which causes changes also. Everyone will be different but avoiding the intake of unknown chemicals will be better for your health.
I find organic food tastes better but it is hard to maintain so i found this video very informative in helping me choose what foods i should worry about most.
